Stephanie and Simon warmly welcome you to Westcot their beautiful family run B&B in Callander. A traditional period cottage combined with modern comforts, Westcot is situated dramatically beneath the high wooded Callander Crags. Step across the road to enjoy the walks around Callander Meadows and enjoy the views from the bedrooms towards the Crags and Ben Ledi to the west and Ben Gullipen to the south. Callander is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is popular base for exploring the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and “Rob Roy” country. Walking and cycling routes can be accessed directly from our front door and the local restaurants and shops are just a minutes’ walk away.
Having moved to Callander in 2013 we only opened Westcot to guests in 2014. We’ve refurbished and upgraded facilities to a 4 star plus standard for your comfort. We are delighted to have received Trip Advisor Certificates of Excellence for each year we have been open
When planning a stay in Callander why not make Westcot your home away from home? Please remember we are now adults only (over 18 years of age)
Remember to book direct as our best prices can only be found here on our own website!
The Covid 19 pandemic changed many of our processes. For safety and environmental purposes we have decided to adopt some of these changes permanently.
We won’t list all the changes here but key points are:
Guests who book breakfast will receive a luxury in room continental breakfast basket
We’ve removed daily room cleans and towel changes as this is where the highest rate of transmission of Covid lies. For stays of more than 3 nights we will agree the frequency of cleaning and towel changes in line with your wishes
Frequent disinfection of common areas will continue
Hand sanitiser will be available in all common areas
Please maintain a safe social distance from others and masks must still be worn in common areas if Scottish Government guidance requires this.
Prepayment in the week prior to your stay is requested to minimise customer contact with the card machines.
